We are bringing together the Chicago tech community for a weekend of hacking – but not just hacking. This event is about taking an idea from pitch to launch in one day. Our judges are looking for shippable products – ones we'd be proud to show to our investors.

Chicago's best and brightest developers, designers and entreprenuers will be at App Challenge Chicago. Join them – along with some really cool sponsors, speakers and judges – for a weekend of working, playing, eating and drinking. And, of course, tons of cool prizes.

How does it work?

Whether you have a team locked in or you're flying solo, you'll have time Saturday morning to pitch your idea and recruit the talent you need. Whether you're building a viral web app or a cross-platform enterprise startup, the competition's going to be stiff, so you're going to need talent. Once teams and ideas are formed, you'll have about 24 hours to build an app that's ready for judging.
